Mobile Sales Executive

Absolute Plantation Shutters, Stanley Green Retail Park, Cheadle Hulme, SK8 6PT
£28,000 basic + performance-based bonus of over £1,000 a month
Four weekdays, 8.30am to 5.30pm, plus either Saturday or Sunday, 10am to 4pm. There may be one late finish a week, until 7.30pm. Overtime is available.

This is a sales job

We sell made-to-measure plantation shutters from our showroom in Cheadle Hulme. We’re looking for an experienced salesperson who can sell both in our showroom and in customers’ own homes.

When a customer is booked in for a survey, you’ll visit their home, measure accurately for their shutters, give them a quote and close the deal. You’ll spend some days on the road and others in the showroom, working alongside our showroom team. Every lead has come to us first, so there is no cold calling.

What you’ll do

• Visit customers’ homes to measure accurately for their shutters, give them a quote and close the sale.
• Contact every new enquiry by phone and turn it into a booked home survey.
• Follow up your own leads.
• Book your own appointments and manage your own schedule, planning your days across Manchester and Cheshire so your route makes sense on the map.
• Work alongside the showroom team on your showroom days, looking after customers who come in, showcasing our exclusive products and selling to them face to face.
• Solve problems as they come up and find answers on the spot.
• Keep every lead and appointment up to date on our CRM system.

What you’ll need

• You must have proven experience in both telephone and face-to-face sales.
• You must be comfortable speaking to customers and selling to them in their own homes.
• You must hold a full driving licence, because you’ll drive to customers’ homes in our company van.
• You must be accurate, because every shutter is priced from the measurements you take.
• You must be proactive, because you’ll manage your own schedule and follow up your own leads.
• You’ll be a great communicator who enjoys talking to people.
• You’ll need excellent knowledge of the Manchester and Cheshire areas.
• You’ll need strong organisation skills.
• You must already be comfortable using a computer, including working in a web browser. You don’t need to be an expert, and we’ll train you on our CRM, but the job can’t be done without everyday computer skills.
• Experience fitting shutters is an advantage, but it isn’t essential.

What you’ll get

• A £28,000 basic salary plus a performance-based bonus of £1,000 plus a month.

Pay: £28,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
