Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will perform on-site repairs and maintenance for a variety of trucks and heavy equipment, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help keep our clients’ fleets moving smoothly, providing exceptional service with a focus on mechanical systems, diagnostics, and repairs. Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site repairs and maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment, including diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components
• Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify root causes quickly
• Perform essential services such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and welding repairs
• Repair automotive electrical systems and ensure proper functioning of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other electronic components
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete mechanical repairs efficiently
• Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating for repairs, and ensure all work meets safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the mechanical repair industry with heavy-duty vehicles
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including powertrain, transmission repair, suspension systems, brake repair, and diesel engine repair
• Familiarity with automotive schematics, electrical systems, ADAS technology, air brake systems, and oil change procedures
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and auto estimating software is preferred
• Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Mechanical knowledge of GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous
• Prior experience working with transmissions, wheel alignment equipment, welding tools, and vehicle maintenance procedures

Pay: $26.80 - $35.48 per hour
