Mobile Service Technician

Job Summary
RVMP is seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team. This role involves traveling to customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain RV systems with a strong focus on generator service and repair. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with RV mechanical and electrical systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to perform on-site RV diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair RV generators and related electrical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on generators and other RV components
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system issues efficiently
• Document service work, parts used, and repairs completed
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations
• Maintain service vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment
• Follow safety standards and company procedures during all service work

Qualifications

• Experience working with RV generators, small engines, or power generation equipment
• Background in RV service, diesel or gas engine repair, or mobile mechanical service
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently in a mobile field service environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various outdoor environments
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous RV technician or mobile service technician experience
• Technical certification or formal mechanical training (preferred but not required)
