This is a unique opportunity for an experienced A-level fleet technician who enjoys troubleshooting, variety, autonomy, and serving as a technical resource for other technicians.
Unlike a traditional shop-based technician position, this role supports a diverse fleet across multiple locations and equipment types, including tractors, trailers, material handling equipment (MHE), auxiliary vehicles, and equipment from multiple manufacturers.
The position requires regular travel between Rocky Mount, Goldsboro, Elizabeth City, and Garner, NC and includes a dedicated mobile service setup equipped with parts and tools to support maintenance and repair needs in the field.

What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on fleet equipment across multiple locations
- Complete major and minor repairs in both shop and field environments

- Communicate fleet status and service activity with management
- Help strengthen the overall technical capabilities of the fleet maintenance team
What We're Looking For
- 8 ASE certifications OR 10+ years of relevant fleet maintenance experience

Why Consider This Opportunity?
This is not a standard fleet mechanic position. The successful candidate will serve as a go-to mobile technical resource, working across a wide variety of equipment and locations while helping keep critical fleet operations running safely and efficiently.
You'll have the opportunity to work independently, solve complex diagnostic problems, support and develop other technicians, and continue expanding your technical capabilities through exposure to new equipment, diagnostic tools, software platforms, and manufacturer-specific systems.
