Equipment Service Technician / Locksmith

Western Protection Inc. is a California statewide locksmithing facilities maintenance provider servicing mainly financial institution's security equipment (doors, general lock work and safe deposit)

Job Duties include

Job sites will encompass the Greater Bay Area and some outlying regions. (Driving to work sites and travel home is included time on job)

Driving to commercial buildings under contract and providing repairs and installations related to banking equipment, doors, locks, furniture, etc.

Communicating with staff to troubleshoot their issues in a constructive and professional manner.

Maintaining required paperwork according to deadlines (timesheets, expenses, work notes, parts inventory)

Job Requirements

• Valid California Driver's License without restrictions and clean record. (driving a company truck is required) -MANDITORY

• Background Checks and Drug testing

• Ability to self-learn and problem solve on the job

• Ability to be professional in appearance, language, and behavior.

• Experience with technical trades, hand tools & power tools

• Additional in-depth, in-house training provided (No specific equipment knowledge or experience required for an entry level placement)

• Company Truck Provided

• Tools and Service Equipment are Provided

• Relevant backgrounds not limited to : locksmith, mechanic, facility maintenance, construction,

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication and ability for reading and learning from manufactor instructions

• Experience with electronic hardware and electronic locks.

• Previous job experience with commercial locksmithing, door hardware, bank equipment such as vaults and safes. (for mid-level positions)

• Being able to accommodate longer than 8-hour workdays based on job site needs (overtime)

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
