Mobile Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide on-site vehicle maintenance and repair services directly at our customers' locations across various areas of Connecticut. This position offers the opportunity to work independently, servicing fleet vehicles including light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty vehicles, as well as tractor trailers and commercial trucks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with gasoline and diesel engines and a strong commitment to delivering quality service in a mobile environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on fleet vehicles at customer sites across designated regions including Hartford, New London, Fairfield County, and New Haven County.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical or electrical problems accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and vehicle status.
• Manage your schedule to cover assigned areas independently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty vehicles, including tractor trailers and commercial trucks.
• Strong knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines.
• Ability to work independently in various locations across Connecticut.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers professionally.
• Prior experience in mobile vehicle maintenance or repair is preferred but not mandatory; relevant technical certifications are advantageous.

Pay: $27.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
