Habberstad Automotive Group is seeking a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Mobile Technician / Tow Truck Operator to join our team! The ideal candidate will assist customers with roadside needs, transport vehicles safely, and provide basic on-site automotive assistance while representing our company professionally.

Job Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside assistance calls and provide mobile vehicle support.
• Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles safely between locations.
• Perform basic roadside services, including jump-starts, battery assistance, tire changes, and lockout assistance as qualified.
• Safely load, secure, and unload vehicles.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the tow truck.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, vehicle pickups, and deliveries.
• Communicate professionally with customers, service departments, and management.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable traffic and transportation regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous towing, roadside assistance, or automotive experience preferred.
• CDL may be required depending on the tow truck operated and applicable regulations.
• Basic automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to safely operate a tow truck and handle vehicles.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical duties associated with vehicle recovery and roadside assistance.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
