Mobile Vending Route Operator

With over 40 years of experience, Cymraeg Group has built a strong reputation for delivering quality vending, catering and workplace refreshment solutions across South Wales and the West Country.

As our business continues to grow and diversify, we are looking for a Mobile Vending Operator & Delivery Driver to take responsibility for one of our established customer routes across The Valleys.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are quite the same. You'll be responsible for visiting a number of customer locations, ensuring their vending machines are clean, well stocked and operating to the high standards our customers expect.

You'll become an important face of Cymraeg Group to our customers, so we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys dealing with people.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing your allocated route and ensuring our vending services are maintained to a consistently high standard.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Travelling to customer locations using a company vehicle.
• Replenishing vending machines with the correct products and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Cleaning and maintaining vending machines in accordance with company procedures.
• Checking machines and reporting any faults or issues identified during your visits.
• Carrying out basic fault-finding where possible, with support from our engineering team when required.
• Escalating technical faults that cannot be resolved during your visit.
• Recording completed work, stock levels and other relevant information accurately.
• Collecting and securely handling cash in accordance with company procedures.
• Building positive relationships with customers and responding professionally to queries or feedback.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and professional appearance at all times.
• Taking ownership of your route and ensuring customers receive a reliable and consistent service.

• Comfortable working independently and managing their own workload.
• Friendly and confident when dealing with customers.
• Practical and willing to learn.
• Able to work to set procedures and maintain high standards.
• Comfortable with regular driving and visiting multiple customer locations throughout the working day.
• Keen to take pride in their work and deliver excellent customer service.

Previous vending experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. A willingness to learn and the right attitude are more important to us.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently following an initial training period.
• Availability for an immediate start.
