Mobile Windscreen Technician – Dartford & Kent

Chips Ahoy Windscreens is expanding into Kent and is looking for an experienced Mobile Windscreen Technician based around Dartford or the surrounding area.

• £35,000 starting salary
• £40,000 after successfully passing probation
• 5–6 quality jobs per day

• Company van, tools and equipment provided

Important location information

Initially, you will need to travel to our Basildon unit every morning to collect your glass and materials, before completing your allocated jobs across Kent.

We are planning to open a new branch in the Dartford or Maidstone area, hopefully in early 2027. Once open, this is expected to become the Kent team’s operating base. The final location and opening date are still being confirmed.

The role

You will carry out mobile windscreen repairs and replacements across Dartford, Maidstone and the wider Kent area while representing Chips Ahoy Windscreens professionally at customers’ homes and workplaces.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Windscreen replacements and stone-chip repairs
• Replacing door, quarter, rear and other vehicle glass
• Collecting the required glass and materials each morning
• Recording completed work accurately on our system
• Maintaining high workmanship and customer-service standards
• Keeping your company van, tools and working area clean and organised

Who we’re looking for

You must have previous automotive-glazing experience and be confident completing jobs independently in a mobile environment.

You should be professional, reliable and customer-focused, with strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your installations.

Experience across all types of automotive glass is preferred, although additional training can be provided where required.

Working pattern

• Monday to Friday
• One Saturday per month
• Full-time, permanent
• Job and knock once your allocated work is completed
