We are seeking a qualified Mobile X-Ray Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services at various healthcare locations throughout the San Jose area.

This position involves traveling to assigned facilities with portable imaging equipment to perform physician-ordered examinations. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, comfortable working independently, and committed to providing high-quality patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of EKG/ECG experience
• Valid driver's license (regular driver's license or CDL)
• Current certification or credential in at least one of the following:
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Ability to safely operate and transport portable imaging equipment
• Ability to travel between assigned healthcare facilities

Candidates must be able to provide required professional credentials and employment documentation during the hiring process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment
• Transport portable X-ray equipment into healthcare facilities to perform physician-ordered examinations
• Produce clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images
• Perform EKGs and transmit results to a cardiologist for interpretation when required
• Complete and submit examination-related paperwork and billing documentation according to established protocols
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management
• Interact professionally with patients, facility staff, coworkers, and clients
• Maintain assigned vehicle and X-ray equipment
• Follow applicable safety, clinical, and operational procedures
• Provide professional and patient-centered service at each assigned location

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a mobile healthcare position. The technologist will travel to different assigned locations to provide diagnostic imaging services using portable equipment.

The position requires the ability to transport equipment and work independently while maintaining communication with dispatch and management.
