Mobileware Technologies - Senior Java Developer

Role & Responsibilities :

• Contribute across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Build scalable backend services using Java / Java EE technologies.
• Develop APIs for UPI integrations (e.g., PSP, TPAP, bank integrations, NPCI switch connectivity).
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Ensure applications comply with UPI/NPCI guidelines, security, and regulatory standards.
• Work on real-time transaction processing systems with strong focus on reliability and latency.
• Prepare and manage releases of software components.
• Convert business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support continuous improvement through research of new technologies and tools.
• Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews.
• Maintain test environments and implement unit/integration testing.
• Identify system bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree in computer science / IT / Electronics or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in:
• Core Java, Collections Framework
• OOPS concepts and design patterns
• Java EE (JSP, Servlets)
• Experience with frameworks like:
• Spring / Spring Boot (preferred) or Struts
• Hands-on experience in:
• RESTful APIs / Web Services (SOAP & REST)
• XML and JSON processing
• Database knowledge:
• MySQL / PostgreSQL
• ORM frameworks like Hibernate / JPA
• Experience with application servers like Apache Tomcat.
• Strong understanding of multithreading and concurrency (important for UPI systems).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit.
• UPI / Payments Domain Expertise (Mandatory or Strongly Preferred):
• Hands-on experience with UPI integrations (PSP/TPAP/Banks)
• Understanding of NPCI specifications and UPI architecture
