Mobiliser

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Mobiliser for the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) scheme. The candidate will be responsible for identifying, counseling, and enrolling eligible rural youth into various skill development and employment training programs under the project guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Community Outreach & Awareness: Conduct door-to-door visits, community meetings, and mobilization camps in targeted villages, Gram Panchayats, and blocks to spread awareness about DDU-GKY courses.
• Beneficiary Identification: Identify eligible candidates (rural youth aged 15–35 years, with priority given to SC, ST, Minorities, Women, and Persons with Disabilities) as per DDU-GKY norms.
• Counseling & Guidance: Provide career counseling to prospective candidates and their parents regarding course offerings, hostel facilities, certification, and post-placement job opportunities.
• Enrollment & Registration: Collect, verify, and compile necessary documentation (Aadhaar card, educational certificates, caste certificates, ration card, BPL details) for candidate registration.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with local leaders, Sarpanches, Anganwadi workers, SHGs (Self Help Groups), and Block Development Officers (BDOs) to drive mobilization efforts.
• Tracking & Retention: Maintain records of mobilized candidates, track batch attendance during training, and assist in minimizing dropout rates.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports on mobilization metrics, community leads, and registration counts to the Project Manager.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Graduate or Higher Secondary (10+210+210+2) in any discipline (Social Work, Rural Development, or related fields preferred).
• Experience: 1–31\text{--}31–3 years of experience in community mobilization, rural sales, field operations, or social sector schemes (DDU-GKY, NRLM, or NSDC experience highly preferred). Freshers with strong local network and communication skills may also apply.
• Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
• Proficiency in the local language/dialect.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and smartphone operations for data entry.
• Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within assigned rural areas (valid two-wheeler license and vehicle preferred).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
