Model Manager

Primary Purpose of Job

The key focus of this role is the identification and management of clients and the generation of revenue for the Models business. You will have a strong focus on managing relationships and servicing the needs of IMG customers, while managing your roster of clients and their career strategy and evolution.

The role will include working closely and collaboratively with other IMG Models offices, as well as independent international agencies, to identify suitable clients for the Australian market and opportunities for Australian clients to be placed and travel internationally.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Identify and establish new customer relationships for the Models team.
• Maintain and service existing customer relationships.
• Manage a dedicated roster of clients across both Men’s and Women’s, while working collaboratively and strategically with colleagues across the Models team to ensure revenue and commercial opportunities are realised across the entire IMG Models client roster.
• Develop and manage client career strategies, identifying opportunities that support their long-term development and commercial potential.
• Identify and sign appropriate clients for IMG.
• Proactively identify commercial opportunities and effectively market clients to existing and prospective customers.
• Maintain client and customer details in ICE and internal company databases to ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
• Make client travel arrangements where necessary.
• Attend events and model bookings from time to time where required.
• Travel occasionally where required to accompany IMG clients.
• Work closely and collaboratively with colleagues across other IMG Models offices globally to understand broader projects, business goals and the movement of clients throughout the network.
• Maintain an awareness of the wider WME Fashion business and its operations. Undertake any other duties assigned from time to time.

Knowledge and Skills

• 3–5 years of relevant experience within a model and/or talent agency, ideally with experience managing a roster of clients.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities, market clients and contribute to revenue growth.
• Ability to identify and develop talent suited to IMG customers and the wider market.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, customers and industry partners.
• Strong understanding of the fashion, modelling and talent landscape, including emerging industry and cultural trends.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, bookings and priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and international offices.
• Strong work ethic and proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of social media and digital platforms and their role in talent development and commercial opportunities.
