Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
As part of a small, hardworking and accomplished team of specialists, you will be responsible for crafting, developing, validating, and upgrading the simulation infrastructure used to train Blue’s launch crews. You will work in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, providing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating individual leadership, technical competence, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Design, analyze, implement, and revise the software design and programming of mathematical models of New Glenn, orbital launch site, and all associated subsystems using first principles and test data. These models will be used for Launch Operators training and procedure development

Develop and implement simulation architectures and models suitable for real-time software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the loop (HIL) testing

Develop and maintain model documentation and databooks

Document and assist engineers across the company in developing the products required to implement Blue’s simulations
