Modeling and Simulation Engineer

We're seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support aerospace and defense programs through the development and application of simulation models. This role will work with engineering and analysis teams to model system behavior, evaluate performance, support technical decisions, and communicate analytical results to technical and program stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and validate models used to evaluate aerospace and defense systems.
• Use MATLAB and Simulink to support modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
• Integrate models with broader modeling and simulation environments.
• Analyze system performance, assumptions, and results to support engineering decisions.
• Apply programming skills to automate workflows, process data, and support simulation activities.
• Document modeling approaches, analysis methods, assumptions, and results.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and government stakeholders in a technical team environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
• Experience with modeling, simulation, or engineering analysis.
• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Experience with programming or scripting such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience modeling aerospace, mechanical, space, or other complex systems.
• Experience with TMAP or other modeling and simulation tools.
• Experience with AFSIM, STK, NGTS, ITASE, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering, SysML, or Cameo.
• Experience supporting DoD or intelligence-related programs.
