As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you will help ensure the organisation's workplace and collaboration platforms operate securely, reliably, and efficiently. You will support global teams, resolve technical issues and escalations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Modern Workplace environment.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and administering Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms
• Maintaining reliable and high-performing workplace technology services
• Troubleshooting complex issues and managing escalations
• Working closely with service desk and technical teams
• Supporting governance, security, and compliance requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems and the overall employee technology experience.

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

You will be an organised and solutions-focused technology professional who communicates clearly, works collaboratively, and remains effective in a fast-paced environment.
You will also bring:

• Strong experience across Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange
• Experience administering workplace or collaboration platforms such as Egnyte or a comparable system
• Knowledge of identity, endpoint, and device-management technologies such as Entra ID, Intune, and Jamf
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across global teams
• An understanding of technology governance, security, and compliance practices
• At least three to four years' experience in IT support, systems administration, or a Modern Workplace environment
• Experience working within a structured service environment and alongside service desk teams
• Relevant Microsoft certifications would be advantageous
