Modification Engineer

Job Purpose The modification engineer is responsible for managing client-requested unit modifications, preparing concept and technical drawings, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating among clients, CRM, Projects, and the Development Team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of approved modifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive modification requests from the CRM aligned with client needs.
• Prepare meeting minutes based on client requirements and obtain client signature.
• Develop drawings following client approval of meeting minutes.
• Obtain client approval on DWG files.
• Conduct client-requested 3D renderings and site visits.
• Prepare the bill of quantities (BOQ) after DWG approvals.
• Forward design drawings and BOQ, along with illustrative shots, to the Development Team.
• Maintain a daily modification log and coordinate with clients and CRM.
• Manage client-requested revisions and update drawings/BOQ accordingly.
• Ensure all modifications comply with company standards, safety codes, and authority requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market-available materials and recommend suitable options to support design quality, feasibility, and cost efficiency.

• Create standard finishing packages for client offerings.
• Ensure modification requests progress smoothly through all workflow stages.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and CRM.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation and logs.
• Ensure all modifications comply with internal standards and authority codes.

Job Specification (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in design modification, technical drafting, or architectural engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; 3D visualization software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests.
• Knowledge of construction codes, standards, and authority guidelines.
