Modification Engineer

Job Objective

Complete vehicle modification requests within the required timeframe and in line with 212 OEM-specified installation times, ensuring quality, with rework and complaint rates not exceeding 10%. When there are no modification tasks, support the after-sales team with regular repair and maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vehicle Modification Execution

• Perform modifications including exterior parts, chassis, powertrain performance, interior parts, and electrical/electronic systems.
• Must have off-road vehicle modification experience and be able to independently complete 212 model modifications.
• Complete modification tasks on time according to work orders.
• Ensure installation time meets 212 OEM-specified standards.
• Keep rework rate and complaint rate below 10%.

2. Technical Understanding & Application

• Read and understand English technical manuals.
• Use software to understand and apply Chinese-version technical manuals.
• Independently assess installation procedures and resolve technical issues based on technical documentation.

3. After-Sales Support

• When no modification tasks are assigned, support the after-sales department with vehicle repair, maintenance, and other routine work.
• Ensure a minimum of 8 working hours per day.

4. Quality & Coordination

• Coordinate with the Accessories Specialist, sales, after-sales, procurement, and warehouse teams.
• Take responsibility for installation quality and ensure no major complaints after delivery.
• Support the Project Leader in optimizing modification processes.

Requirements

Essential

• Minimum 3 years of off-road vehicle modification experience.
• Ability to independently complete 212 model modifications.
• Familiarity with exterior, chassis, powertrain, interior, and electrical/electronic modifications.
• Ability to read English technical manuals and understand Chinese-version technical manuals via software.
• Available for a minimum of 8 working hours per day.

Preferred

• UAE local work experience.
• Experience in a modification department of an authorized 4S dealership.
• Manufacturer training received.
• No formal education or certification requirement.
• No driving license required.

Working Hours & Overtime

• Due to the time-sensitive nature of modification requests, the role requires willingness to work overtime or on weekends as needed.
• Overtime and weekend work will be compensated with time off in lieu.

Performance Indicators

• On-time completion rate of work orders
• Installation time compliance with 212 OEM standards
• Rework rate ≤ 10%
• Complaint rate ≤ 10%
• After-sales support cooperation
• Quarterly review performance

Commission Scheme

• 2% of net profit from modification parts sales.
• Salary adjustment after quarterly performance review.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
