The Role

As a Cold-Formed Steel Framing Modeler (MWF) , you will create accurate BIM models for steel framing systems using Revit and the MWF (Metal Wood Framer) add-in. Your role involves interpreting project specifications and design information to ensure constructible, high-quality models that support prefabrication and cross-disciplinary coordination. You will work autonomously, identifying and resolving conflicts during the modeling process and ensuring the final product meets client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

🛠️ Modeling: Develop accurate cold-formed steel framing models using Revit with the MWF add-in, including panel layouts, shop drawings, and cutting lists for prefabrication.

📋 Review and Analysis: Analyze project documents—such as architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and submittals—to ensure high-quality, accurate, and constructible designs.

⚠️ Conflict Resolution: Identify and resolve potential conflicts during the modeling process and throughout project coordination to meet client requirements.

Minimum Requirements

📅 Experience: At least 2 years of experience in cold-formed steel framing or structural modeling.

🖥️ Software Skills: Revit experience is required; hands-on use of the MWF (Metal Wood Framer) add-in is highly desirable.

🎓 Education: A degree or technical certification in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

🌐 Language Skills: A proficient or advanced level of English is required.
