Modular Installer

About the role

The Modular Installer is responsible for the on-site assembly, installation, and finishing of modular interior fixtures and components in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards. This role ensures that modular units are installed safely, accurately, and on schedule at assigned project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install modular interior fixtures, panels, partitions, cabinetry, and related components according to project drawings and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, layout plans, and shop drawings to ensure correct placement and alignment of modular units
• Assemble and fit modular components using hand tools, power tools, and other installation equipment
• Perform measurements, leveling, and adjustments to ensure proper fit and finish
• Coordinate with site supervisors, carpenters, and other trades to sequence installation work efficiently
• Conduct minor repairs, touch-ups, and adjustments to installed units as needed
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of modular materials to prevent damage before and during installation
• Comply with company safety protocols and site-specific safety requirements (PPE use, proper equipment handling, hazard reporting)
• Report installation progress, issues, or material discrepancies to the site supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area

About you

• At least 1–2 years of experience in installation work, carpentry, or modular/prefab construction; fresh graduates with relevant training may be considered
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools used in installation and finishing work
• Ability to read basic construction plans and technical drawings
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing
• Willing to be assigned to various project sites as needed
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
