Modular Painter

Job Summary

The Modular Painter is responsible for preparing, painting, finishing, and maintaining the quality of modular furniture, fixtures, displays, and other fabricated components. The position requires attention to detail, proper application techniques, and compliance with company quality and safety standards to ensure that all finished products meet the required specifications and appearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare modular panels, furniture, fixtures, and fabricated materials for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking surfaces as required.
• Apply primer, paint, topcoat, and other finishing materials using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Ensure proper color, texture, coverage, and finish based on approved samples, drawings, or project specifications.
• Perform touch-ups, retouching, and corrective painting when necessary.
• Inspect painted surfaces for defects such as uneven coating, runs, drips, bubbles, scratches, discoloration, or other imperfections.
• Follow proper mixing and preparation procedures for paints, primers, thinners, and other finishing materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the painting area, tools, and equipment.
• Properly handle, store, and dispose of paint, chemicals, and other materials in accordance with safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the Production Supervisor and other team members regarding project requirements, specifications, and quality concerns.
• Follow instructions and approved procedures to ensure consistent and quality output.
• Conduct final checking of completed work before submitting items for Quality Checking or delivery.
• Report defective materials, equipment issues, or other concerns that may affect the quality or completion of the project.
• Observe company policies, workplace safety rules, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.

Qualifications

• With experience in painting modular furniture, fixtures, displays, cabinets, or similar fabricated products is preferred.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, paint mixing, sanding, priming, and finishing techniques.
• Able to operate and maintain basic painting tools and equipment.
• Keen eye for detail and ability to identify surface and finishing defects.
• Able to follow measurements, drawings, instructions, and project specifications.
• Physically capable of performing painting, sanding, lifting, and other production-related activities.
• Willing to work overtime, when necessary, depending on project requirements.
• Can work independently and as part of a production team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php810.00 - Php850.00 per day
