Module Larvae Technician

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Module Larvae Technician to join the dynamic team at PT Suri Tani Pemuka (JAPFA Group), a leading company in the aquaculture industry. This role will be based in Sumbawa, you will be responsible for supporting larval production activities, monitoring larval health and development, maintaining optimal culture conditions, and ensuring production targets are achieved through effective implementation of operational and biosecurity standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee and coordinate daily hatchery operations to ensure activities are carried out efficiently and in compliance with established SOPs and production plans.
• Monitor and control breeding, larval rearing, nursery activities, and water quality parameters to achieve optimal production performance.
• Provide direction, supervision, and support to hatchery operators and production personnel.
• Ensure the effective implementation of biosecurity measures, quality standards, workplace safety regulations, and housekeeping practices.
• Identify, investigate, and report operational issues, abnormal mortality rates, and any deviations from production standards.
• Maintain accurate operational records, production data, and daily reports to support hatchery performance monitoring.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Fisheries, Aquaculture, or a related field.
• Experience in hatchery operations, seed production, or fish/shrimp larval production will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of larval rearing techniques, live feed culture, and water quality management.
• Ability to monitor larval health, maintain production records, and implement biosecurity protocols.
• Willing to work in a shift system, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Willing to be placed in Sumbawa.
