MOLD DESIGN ENGINEER

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Plastic Injection Mould Designer with strong hands-on expertise in UG NX. The candidate should be capable of independently handling complete mould design projects from concept through manufacturing and should have a good understanding of mould construction, tooling standards, and injection moulding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design plastic injection moulds using UG NX (Unigraphics/NX).

* Develop complete 3D mould assemblies and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings.

* Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM).

* Design mould components including cooling systems, ejection systems, sliders, lifters, and hot runner systems.

* Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis and implement design improvements.

* Ensure mould designs comply with customer specifications and industry standards.

* Coordinate with manufacturing, tooling, and production teams during mould development.

* Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and mould trials.

* Maintain design documentation and revision records.

Required Skills:

* Strong hands-on experience in Plastic Injection Mould Design.

* Proficiency in UG NX.

* Good knowledge of mould construction and tooling standards.

* Experience in designing cooling and ejection systems, sliders, lifters, and hot runner moulds.

* Ability to create accurate 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs.

* Ability to independently handle complete mould design projects.

* Strong understanding of plastic injection moulding processes.

* Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
