Mold Design Engineer / Mold Designer - Batangas

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mold Design Engineer / Mold Designer with strong technical and design skills to develop high-quality molds, tooling, and components for manufacturing applications.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys 3D modeling, mold development, precision design, and solving complex manufacturing challenges. Candidates with hands-on experience using Siemens NX or Solid Edge are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop injection molds, mold components, tooling, jigs, and fixtures using 3D CAD software.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Develop mold designs based on product specifications and customer requirements.
• Modify and optimize existing mold designs to improve performance and manufacturability.
• Prepare detailed drawings and documentation for machining and production.
• Collaborate with machining, manufacturing, production, and engineering teams.
• Review designs for dimensional accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability.
• Assist in resolving mold, tooling, and design-related production issues.
• Ensure CAD models and drawings are properly maintained and updated.
• Support continuous improvement of mold and tooling designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; technical/vocational qualifications with relevant experience may also be considered.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in mold design, tooling design, mechanical design, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX, Solid Edge software.
• Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Understanding of injection molding and mold components is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of machining, CNC processes, and manufacturing methods is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and dimensional accuracy.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing plastic injection molds.
• Experience with complex mold assemblies and mold components.
• Knowledge of mold standards, tolerances, and GD&T.
• Experience working with CNC machining or CAM software.
• Experience using Siemens NX or Solid Edge in a professional manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, machinists, and production personnel.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
