Job Overview
The Plastek Group is seeking a Mold Maintenance / Changeover employee for our Spectrum Molding Division Tool Room located in Erie, PA.

ALL SHIFTS NEEDED

Responsibilities

• Clean molds.
• Repair molds.
• Change components in molds for production.
• Troubleshoot problems in areas of cleaning, repairing, and mold changing.
• Variable work schedule and overtime may be required.
• Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess the ability to effectively communicate information to/from the employer/clients by written, verbal or other designated means as required by the employer.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Tool room environment work experience preferred.
• Basic Machine Shop Course. (Skill Center)
• Advanced Machine Shop Course. (Skill Center)
• Proficient blueprint reading.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience:

• Tool Room: 1 year (Required)
• Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
• Mold Maintenance : 1 year (Required)
• Basic Machine Shop Course: 1 year (Preferred)
