Responsibilities:

• Fabricate molds using hand tools and machinery
• Operate and maintain stamping presses
• Collaborate with design team to create and modify CAD drawings
• Inspect and test molds for quality assurance
• Troubleshoot and repair molds as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Moldmaker or in a similar role
• Proficient in using hand tools and machinery for mold fabrication
• Knowledge of CAD software for creating and modifying drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mold issues
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

-Basic knowledge of CNC and EDM machining

-Certification on Mold making apprenticeship/any related coursework

-Journeyman's Card (optional but a plus)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:

• Automotive Injection Mold: 5 years (Required)
• CNC and EDM Machining: 5 years (Required)
• Knowledge of lathes, grinders, mills, etc.: 5 years (Required)
• Tooling or Stamping: 5 years (Required)
• Mold Technician: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Journeyman's Certification (Preferred)
