About the company

Lightspeed Restoration of Frisco & Plano is a DFW restoration company. Our main work is mold remediation. We also handle water and fire jobs when the loss requires it. Most of our work is in occupied homes and occupied commercial buildings. The people who hire us are under stress. Containment discipline and how we treat the property are the job.

The role

This is a working supervisor job. You run the crew, own the protocol, and still put hands on the work. You lead mold jobs from walk-through through tear-down and clearance-ready closeout. You report to the Operations Manager.

You will:

• Build and hold containments — poly, zippers, critical barriers, negative air, HEPA scrubbers, and measured pressure.
• Lead source removal, controlled demolition, HEPA vacuuming, and antimicrobial application to IICRC S520 and company protocols.
• Direct technicians on site, check quality before finishes come down, and stop work if safety or protocol slips.
• Be the on-site contact for homeowners and property managers. Explain the day’s work in plain language. Do not promise clearance or health outcomes.
• Document the job with photos and notes so Operations can estimate, change-order, and bill accurately.
• Support water extraction, drying, or fire cleanup when Operations needs the crew on a related loss.
• Keep the assigned van, tools, and supplies ready for the next mobilization.

Schedule

Full-time field work out of our Plano shop. Early morning starts. End times move with the job. Expect DFW drive time, Texas heat, occasional overtime, and weekend or on-call work when losses pile up.

What you need

• 3+ years hands-on mold remediation or property restoration, including containment and controlled demolition.
• 1+ year leading a crew or running jobs as the lead technician.
• Working knowledge of IICRC S520 (containment, source removal, engineering controls).
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that will pass company insurance.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in attics and crawlspaces, wear a respirator, and work in heat.
• Clear English with customers and the crew. Pass a background check and drug screen.

Strong plus: current IICRC AMRT (WRT is usually required first), ASD or OSHA 10/30, and experience with adjusters or indoor environmental professionals. If you do not have AMRT yet, we may send you to company-paid training under a separate training agreement.
