Mold Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in various technical tasks. This role is essential for maintaining equipment and ensuring smooth operations within our facility. The Technician will work closely with other team members to troubleshoot issues, change molds, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our production processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery, including auxillary equipment and injection molding equipment.
• Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers for accurate measurements.
• Perform mold changeovers as required, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Perform setup and operation of injection molding machines.
• Assist Production when needed.
• Safely operate forklifts for material handling within the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a technical role.
• Familiarity with injection molding processes is preferred.
• Experience operating controllers and understanding their functionality is a plus.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is beneficial.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments is essential.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
