Mold Technician

·        Graduate of Mechanical Technology, Tool and Die Technology, Industrial Technology, or any related technical/vocational course.

·        With extensive experience in plastic injection mold repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

·        Capable of performing high-level mold repair, including correction of critical mold defects and restoration of damaged mold components.

·        Strong technical knowledge of common plastic part defects and the corresponding corrective actions, such as flash, short shot, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, and dimensional issues.

·        Experienced in mold maintenance activities, including mold cleaning, overhauling, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

·        Able to perform mold modification, tooling improvement, and reverse engineering activities.

·        Skilled in operating tool shop machining equipment such as: Lathe Machine, Milling Machine, Surface Grinding Machine, CNC Milling Machine, and Laser Welding Machine.

·        Knowledgeable in CAD/CAM software applications, such as SolidWorks, Siemens NX, and AutoCAD.

·        Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

·        Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, mold designs, and technical specifications.

·        With good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·        Can work with minimal supervision and under pressure.

·        Willing to render overtime and support urgent tooling requirements when needed.
