Molding Engineer

• Develop, set up, and optimize injection molding processes for new and existing products.
• Establish process parameters and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality.
• Troubleshoot molding defects such as flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, and dimensional issues.
• Conduct mold trials, process validation, and capability studies for new product introductions.
• Monitor production performance and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Collaborate with tooling and maintenance teams on mold maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
• Analyze process data and identify opportunities for cycle time reduction and productivity improvement.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality and production issues.
• Provide technical guidance and training to production operators and technicians.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, process sheets, and engineering reports.

Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree of Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in manufacturing operations, focusing injection molding manufacturing
• Self-motivated, independent and good communication.
• Able to join immediately is an advantage.
