Molding Operator

Position : Molding Operator Location : Columbus, NE Duration : 12 Months Total Hours/week : 40.00 2nd Shift Job Category: Light Industrial Pay Rate: $20/hr Job Summary Performs routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labelling, and inspecting under general supervision. Works within one skill area/process, following standard operating procedures.

Schedule: B Shift, 6:00 PM-6:00 AM, 12-hour rotating shifts (Week 1: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on; Week 2: 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off). No drug screening required. All background checks must be completed before starting .

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine production functions: filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting
• Maintain accurate records and logs per FDA, GMP, and ISO9000 requirements
• Work effectively in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives
• Make effective decisions relative to position requirements
• Follow instructions and work within routine, standard practices
• Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method
• Apply basic knowledge to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps

Experience

• 1- 2 years of experience
• Previous manufacturing work experience - first preference

Key Skills

• Reading, writing, interpreting, and comprehending specifications in English
• Basic math calculations
• Effective communication skills
• Teamwork and willingness to rotate into different tasks/responsibilities

Eligibility & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (required)
• Ability to work flexible/extended hours and report to work regularly and punctually
• Ability to get along with people and work in a team environment
