Position: Molding operator / Material handler

Department: Molding
Reports: Production Supervisor
Summary
The Material Handler/Operator works with Production Supervisors to coordinate daily production floor activities, including housekeeping. Read and understand work instructions for molding operations and run machines when necessary. Follow written and oral instructions to identify materials or containers to move.

Job Duties

• Follow all safety requirements
• Inventory materials, parts, and packaging on the work floor and supply machines with materials as needed
• Load or unload materials as needed
• Read part numbers and show distinction between part numbers
• Place finished goods in proper area and label accordingly
• Report any equipment issues to the active supervisor or manager
• Work within a team environment
• Work overtime as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• 1+ year of experience in the Automotive Industry preferred
• Ability to safely operate Hi-Lo equipment required
• Basic Math, Reading, and Comprehension Skills

Working Conditions

• Physical ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Driving, standing, reaching, twisting, bending, and walking
• Operating Forklift and other related machinery in Materials in a manufacturing/Plant environment
• Ability to manually move other boxes and materials as required
• Ability to operate a hand jack pallet as required

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
