Molding Supervisor

Qualifications:

• College Graduate of Ceramic Engineering course or any related engineering course
• with 2-5 years of experience in Production Manufacturing Industry
• preferably residing in Cavite

Job Summary

The Molding Supervisor oversees mold development operations, including mold production, repair, inspection, testing, scheduling, and manpower allocation. The role ensures compliance with quality, safety, QMS, and production standards while supporting new product development and continuous improvement.

Job Description:

• Plan and monitor production schedules, work assignments, manpower, and daily activities of the Mold Development Unit.
• Supervise mold production, repair, inspection, and maintenance activities, including Proto Mold, Block Mold, and Mother Mold.
• Monitor mold quality and troubleshoot mold-related issues, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Monitor equipment condition, preventive maintenance, material availability, and operational requirements of the unit.
• Prepare production, inspection, accomplishment, and other required operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, Quality Management System (QMS), 8S, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with QA and other departments for new product testing, sample evaluation, and mold development activities.
• Monitor testing from casting to firing and follow up on sample evaluation and results.
• Conduct unit meetings, provide work instructions, and supervise team performance.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
