Molding Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Machine setup, mould install & removal, trial run and process parameter tuning.
• Monitor production run, identify product defects and adjust parameters to improve yield and quality.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance on machines and moulds to minimize breakdown and downtime.
• Keep proper records of machine parameters, production logs and maintenance checklist.
• Support new product mould trial, process optimization and quality inspection.
• Follow SOP, factory safety rules and 5S housekeeping.
• Respond quickly to machine or process issues during production.

Job Requirements

• SPM / Technical Certificate or related qualification.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in any plastic moulding process: Injection / Blow / Extrusion.
• Basic understanding of plastic materials, mould structure and moulding defects troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience in machine operation, mould changing and parameter adjustment.
• Willing to work rotating shift, hardworking and responsible.
• Good teamwork, able to work under production pressure.
• Candidates with experience in more than one moulding process (injection + blow / extrusion) will have higher priority.

Pay: From RM2,800.00 per month
