Molecular Biology Technician

1. Conduct routine quality control from samples internally collected or received from third party, using molecular techniques under strict biosecurity guidelines.

2. Write and report analytical results of routine QC activities.

3. Research and develop new methods to improve proficiency within the company, including conducting proposals, trials and result reports.

4. Regulate data collected from surveilling living specimens within the facility.

5. Manage the inventory of lab equipment and supplies, including ordering new equipment or chemicals as needed.

6. Maintain, calibrate and clean laboratory equipment, ensure that everything functions properly.

7. Supervise, advise, and troubleshoot operational issues in collaboration with the production department.

8. Conduct fieldwork and travel upcountry to collaborate and work on-site at other facilities or locations.

9. Coordinate with different branches within the company, including internationally.

10. Work under Strict biosecurity guidelines within the facility.

***Ability or willingness to reside/stay overnight at company-provided accommodation is highly preferred.

Work Hour:- Monday – Friday, 8:00-17:00

Qualification

1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biology, Life Sciences, or related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.
2. Able to communicate in English fluently and confidently
3. Candidates must have basic understanding of Genetics.
4. 0–1 year experience with quality control is preferred. Newly Graduate is welcome.
5. Hand-on experience with Molecular technique including Real-Time PCR, and conventional PCR is required.
6. Proficiency in both English and Thai in every aspect including Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoints)
8. Ability to work actively in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skill.
