Monitor

Hour House provides treatment services for men and women with Substance Use Disorders. We are hiring monitors to work our evening shift (4pm-12am). Dependability in attendance is very important.

Monitors ensure the safety of the clients and facility, provide emotional support to clients, enforce program structure, perform housekeeping tasks, transport clients in agency vehicles, assist in the admission of people seeking help, and complete documentation regarding clients in an electronic medical record. Ability to drive agency vehicle is imperative.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Age 21 or older with valid driver's license with ability to drive agency vehicle.
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in crisis intervention, conflict management, and behavior management techniques
• Ability to supervise and manage behavior effectively
• Familiarity with case management and addiction counseling (preferred)
• Background in social work or related field (preferred)
• First aid certification and medication administration experience (preferred)

Preference will be given to those that have experience working in social services or are working towards a degree in a related field.
