Programme Description

What does this team do?
Monitor Deloitte (Deloitte’s Strategy practice) helps leading organisations tackle their most critical challenges, capture new opportunities, and grow in an increasingly complex, fast-changing world. We combine deep industry expertise and data-driven insights to advise clients on how to futureproof their business, seize new market opportunities, and navigate disruptive technologies. We bring industry expertise and strategic knowledge to help our clients make critical decisions, solving their toughest business challenges and helping them to achieve their goals. We offer graduates rotations across our different teams, so you can get a taste of each business area.
What skills and academic qualifications do I need?
You’ll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in any degree discipline and have graduated by September 2027 for the Autumn 2027 intake. We have identified 10 core skills that are essential to all our roles in Early Careers. To learn more about these skills and their detailed descriptions, please visit the 'Discover What We Look For' section in our Candidate Zone.
What kind of work will I do?
As a Monitor Deloitte Analyst, you will join a project team responsible for supporting our clients in making choices to give them a competitive advantage, improve business efficiency, or deploy innovation for a competitive edge.
Your role will involve gathering and analysing data, developing clear insights, and contributing to high-quality deliverables that support the project’s objectives. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, take part in client discussions, and help design transformation programmes, new business models and innovative products and services.
Technology is playing an increasingly important role in our work, so curiosity about its possibilities and the ability to focus on the opportunities that create genuine value is essential.
Where will I work?
At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you’re in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person. Please note your final assessments and induction will be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.
All our workspaces are accessible, however, if you require further flexibility due to a health condition or caring responsibilities, please discuss this with our team. You can find further information on our parent and carer policies here.
How will I develop?
When you join the Monitor team, we’ll give you the support, training and development opportunities you need to succeed. This will include:

An introduction to strategy, where you’ll learn key strategic approaches, frameworks and methods before applying them in small-group case studies

Mentoring as you begin client work after your induction, with close support from a Consultant or Senior Consultant

Ongoing coaching from your line manager and People Leader

Continuous on-the-job learning and development throughout your project and engagement work
