Monitoring & Evaluation Manager

The M&E Manager will lead the design, implementation, and management of monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems to ensure evidence-based decision-making, track project performance, and drive continuous improvement in program quality and impact.

Key Responsibility:

• Develop and oversee M&E frameworks, tools, and systems.
• Plan and manage baseline, midline, endline evaluations and impact assessments.
• Design indicators, targets, and data collection plans aligned with project goals.
• Lead data collection, verification, analysis, and reporting.
• Prepare timely and accurate donor reports and dashboards.
• Ensure data quality, documentation, and compliance with donor requirements.
• Facilitate learning, sharing, and use of evidence for decision-making.
• Build capacity of staff on M&E systems and best practices.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for effective M&E implementation.
• Perform any other related tasks assigned by the management.

Qualification and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in designing M&E systems and managing evaluations.
• Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
• Experience with data management tools (Excel, SPSS, Power BI, DHIS2, ODK, etc.).
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of donor requirements and results-based management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
