Monogrammer

Job Purpose
Responsible for operating embroidery/monogramming machines to produce clean, accurate and professionally finished branded garments, caps, towels, uniforms and other textile products.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate industrial embroidery/monogramming machines efficiently.
• Prepare and load embroidery designs correctly before production.
• Hoop and position garments/materials accurately.
• Maintain correct thread tension, needle selection and machine settings.
• Inspect finished embroidery for alignment, density, thread breaks and overall quality.
• Carry out basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Identify and report machine faults promptly.
• Minimize material, thread and production wastage.
• Follow approved production samples and specifications.
• Meet assigned daily production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain an organized and clean production workstation.
• Work closely with the design and production teams to resolve embroidery-related issues.

• Daily production output.
• Embroidery accuracy and finishing quality.
• Low rejection/rework rate.
• Minimal material wastage.
• Timely completion of assigned orders.
• Proper machine handling and maintenance.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating an industrial embroidery machine.
• Knowledge of embroidery production and garment handling.
• Ability to interpret embroidery designs and production specifications.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
• Experience with computerized embroidery machines/software is an advantage.
