Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership by developing and implementing long-term goals aligned with the Montessori educational principles and community needs.
• Oversee curriculum development to ensure it adheres to Montessori standards while fostering creativity, independence, and critical thinking among students.
• Manage daily school operations, including staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluations to maintain high-quality classroom instruction.
• Lead fundraising initiatives and cultivate relationships with donors, community partners, and stakeholders to support school programs and infrastructure.
• Develop and manage the school budget effectively, ensuring financial sustainability while maintaining quality educational offerings.
• Supervise classroom activities and ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and accreditation requirements.
• Engage actively in public speaking engagements to promote the school’s mission within the community and attract prospective families.
• Foster a positive school culture by encouraging collaboration among staff, parents, students, and community members.

• Extensive experience in education administration with a strong background in Montessori teaching methods.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams of educators and support staff.

• Competence in budgeting, fundraising, and financial management to ensure operational sustainability.
• Excellent public speaking skills for community outreach, parent engagement, and promotional events.
• Supervising experience that demonstrates effective management of classroom environments and staff development.
• Knowledge of education regulations, licensing standards, and accreditation processes relevant to private schools or early childhood education settings. Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
