About The Opportunity The Senior KPO Technician will focus primarily on hands on shop floor Kaizen activities, performs a variety of Continuous Improvement tasks in support of the Kaizen Promotion Office. Aides in creating a safe, efficient, and effective Lean operation.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with all functional departments and handle Continuous Improvement requests
• Undertakes independent projects as needed in support of department
• Supports Supervisors, Team Leaders and Associates in the application of the Lean principles
• Assists in the creation of Work Instructions, Daily Management, 6 Sigma and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Documents
• Assists in designs and fabricates equipment from Creform Tubing and other materials
• Assists in the completion of Kaizen Newspaper Action Items
• Participates in and supports Kaizen Event

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years in continuous improvement related experience
• 2-4 years in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
