We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Morning Cleaner to join our dedicated facilities team. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure effective sanitation without hazards
• Maintain floors through buffing, mopping, and floor care techniques to uphold high standards of cleanliness and appearance
• Use custodial tools and cleaning equipment efficiently to complete tasks quickly and effectively while adhering to safety guidelines
• Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when moving furniture, supplies, or cleaning materials
• Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
• Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting maintenance issues promptly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning practices
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment including floor buffers and other custodial tools
• Understanding of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently during morning hours
• Customer service orientation with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or Porter roles is advantageous
• Knowledge of residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus but not required
