Morning Host

In addition to welcoming and assisting guests, the Morning Host will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining the breakfast service area, ensuring food is fresh, well-stocked, and presented to a high standard. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with basic food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and working efficiently during busy morning hours.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive and professional demeanor, and experience in guest services, hospitality, or food service environments. A strong work ethic, reliability during morning shifts, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and create a positive first impression upon arrival
• Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet before service begins, ensuring all stations are fully stocked and attractively presented
• Replenish food, beverages, tableware, glassware, and condiments promptly throughout breakfast service
• Ensure all breakfast items remain fresh, appealing, and available to maximize guest satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic breakfast and front desk area, including tables, counters, appliances, and dining spaces
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and dietary accommodations
• Deliver exceptional customer service by anticipating guest needs and ensuring a memorable dining experience
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply shortages to management in a timely manner
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations to maintain the highest hygiene standards
• Break down and clean the buffet area after service, properly storing equipment and handling waste disposal
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient morning operations
• Uphold high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and guest care at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, restaurant, or food service is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, guest-focused attitude
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and ensuring maximum guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is an asset
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Professional appearance and positive work ethic
• Flexible and reliable for morning and weekend shifts as required

This position is open to candidates who are legally authorized to work in Canada. Applicants must have valid work authorization at the time of application and throughout employment. Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
