You will play a key role in helping clients navigate the home-buying and mortgage process, providing clear, compliant advice and a high standard of customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver regulated mortgage advice in accordance with Central Bank of Ireland requirements and the Consumer Protection Code.
- Complete comprehensive client fact-finds and assess affordability and borrowing requirements.
- Recommend suitable mortgage solutions across first-time buyers, home movers, mortgage switchers and re-mortgages.
- Oversee mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to final drawdown.
- Maintain accurate client files and ensure compliance with AML, GDPR and internal procedures.
- Work towards agreed business development, sales and service objectives while prioritising clients’ needs.
- Monitor changes in mortgage lending criteria, regulation and the wider Irish property finance market.
- Maintain relevant qualifications and complete ongoing CPD requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
- QFA qualified, currently pursuing QFA, or APA qualified.
- Ideally 3–5 years’ experience in mortgage advice within the Irish market.
- Strong understanding of Irish mortgage products, lender requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple cases.
- A professional, ethical and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
- Previous experience in a mortgage brokerage or multi-lender environment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with protection products, including mortgage protection, life cover and income protection, is desirable.
What’s on Offer?
- Competitive salary and an attractive performance-related bonus structure.
- Employer pension contributions and life insurance.
- Additional benefits, including volunteer days.
- Financial support for relevant professional qualifications, courses and ongoing learning.
- A supportive team environment built on respect, collaboration and integrity.
- Opportunities for career development and progression within a growing financial services business.
