About the Company
Established in 2013, this established mortgage and protection practice has over 60 years of combined industry experience and is committed to providing clients with a personal, professional and down-to-earth service.
Based in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, the business supports clients across a range of mortgage needs, including first-time purchases, home moves, buy-to-let properties and remortgages. It also provides specialist protection advice, helping clients find suitable cover based on their individual circumstances.
Having recently become part of a larger financial services group, the business is continuing to grow while maintaining its established team culture and commitment to client service. The wider group is also investing in new technology and exploring AI-driven solutions, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who is open to new ideas and evolving ways of working.
About the role
Due to continued business growth and increasing demand, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join its close-knit team. Working closely with the Director and existing Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting a busy mortgage and protection practice, with occasional involvement in the associated will writing and estate planning business. You may also provide additional support to other advisers during particularly busy periods.
Your responsibilities will cover mortgage and protection research, solution generation, assisting with client presentations and submitting applications to lenders. You will also help manage leads and coordinate fact-find meetings, contributing to an efficient and client-focused advice process.
This is a research and paraplanning-focused position rather than a sales progression role, making it ideal for someone who enjoys the technical side of financial services and takes pride in finding appropriate solutions for clients.
