Mortgage Processor

As a Mortgage Processor your role with Mortgage 1st will be varied, high-pressured & fast paced. You should be determined, confident & composed with the ability to multi task and stay calm under pressure. You will need to have outstanding communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal. Demonstrate a confident telephone manner & excellent customer service. A team player with ability to use own initiative and be of a positive and determined nature.

As a Mortgage Processor your role will be to check our advisers submitted mortgage applications to ensure that the cases are fully packaged for the Mortgage lender & compliant by our networks standards by way of case check. You will liaise directly with lenders in providing the relevant information to support the application whilst keeping the client regularly up to date to ensure that our client’s mortgage applications proceed through the process to offer as quickly as possible. You will oversee your client’s mortgage through the legal side of the transaction via communications with solicitors and your clients to help facilitate completion of the mortgages in a timely manner.

You will need to ensure you can effectively manage your case load with the ability to prioritise and adapt swiftly to job requirements in a timely manner whilst managing your client’s expectations.

As a department you are also responsible for answering incoming calls to the business.

Job Specifics

• Full time position. 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday
• Working either fully office based or a Hybrid of Home & Office*

• The annual salary for a full time Mortgage Processor is £28,500**
• The annual bonus, paid quarterly, based on performance & behavior is £2,000**
• Holiday entitlement is 20 days per year plus all bank holidays
• Holiday entitlement increases by 1 day for every year of service (to the maximum of 5)
