Consuma

Why does this role exist?
We have built an AI-powered consumer research platform that takes brands from brief to full
report in minutes.
We work with some of India's biggest consumer companies and fastest-
moving D2C brands - Coca-Cola, Britannia, Foxtale - and partner with some of the largest
agencies like WPP.
We're hiring a Motion &amp; Visual Content Designer to own how that work looks and moves in
market.
We don't need someone who can "use Figma." We need someone with taste
, who
looks at a chart, a carousel, a launch, and instinctively knows what makes people stop
scrolling.
Your work doesn't just go live on a page. It's the content their CMO actually reads. That's
how much it matters.
What You'll Actually Do
Motion and launch content
Own launch videos and motion graphics
<ul>
<li>this is the job, not a side quest. Product films,</li>
</ul>
feature-drop videos, shoot-to-edit where needed. If it moves, you're behind it.
Think in timing, pacing, and reveal. A launch needs to feel electric in 15 seconds, and you know how to build that.
Social, campaign, and data-led storytelling
<ul>
<li>Daily social assets, campaign visuals, event creative - the full stack of what goes out</li>
</ul>
under our name
<ul>
<li>Carousels and data-heavy visual storytelling: reports, market intel, trend pieces, GIFs</li>
</ul>
that do more work than a paragraph of copy
<ul>
<li>Make numbers look inevitable, not exhausting - the design has to carry hard content</li>
</ul>
without dumbing it down
AI-led production and reusable systems
<ul>
<li>Use image, video, and generative design tools to compress production time - and know</li>
</ul>
exactly where they fail, so you step back in with craft before something ships broken.
<ul>
<li>Turn every finished asset into a reusable template. The next version should take an</li>
</ul>
hour, and anyone should be able to produce it
Who We Think This is For
2 to 5 years designing motion and visual content for a brand, studio, agency, or startup.
You're likely coming from:
<ul>
<li>An in-house brand or content design team at a consumer or B2B startup</li>
<li>A social or content studio, or a motion and video production house</li>
<li>An independent practice with a portfolio of launch and social work you made end-to-end</li>
</ul>
That said, if you're incredibly good at what you do, it's okay if you're a fresher.
You probably:
<ul>
<li>Have an eye - you know the difference between "clean" and "forgettable"</li>
<li>Have made data look good before - charts, dashboards, report visuals, trend pieces</li>
<li>Are fluent with AI-assisted production, and know where to stop trusting it</li>
<li>Own motion (a weapon of your choice) and static (Figma / Illustrator), plus Canva</li>
<li>Keep your eyes open - you notice great work and absorb why it works</li>
<li>Want your work seen by the brands you already admire, and have been called</li>
</ul>
"particular" as a compliment
This role is probably not for you if:
<ul>
<li>You need to be handed the exact design and told what to make - we need someone</li>
</ul>
who pulls inspiration from great work and iterates it into something unmistakably theirs
<ul>
<li>You'd rather specialise in one surface than span motion, static, and social</li>
<li>You want a fully-built brand system and asset library - at our stage, you're building it</li>
</ul>
Compensation
We pay competitively against the Indian design market for this experience level and offer
meaningful ESOPs as an early design hire at our stage.
