Motion Designer

Motion Designer Start date: week of October 19th Fully remote Duration: 4 weeks, part-time hours Rate: $40-45/hr.

Our client, a leading independent investment bank and wealth management firm, is seeking a designer to develop a premium animated corporate holiday e-card for distribution to clients, institutional investors, corporate executives, and business partners. The creative should reflect a sophisticated, globally minded, and optimistic brand experience while remaining consistent with the firm's established visual identity and market positioning.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and produce an animated holiday e-card with a refreshed creative direction.

• Review existing brand guidelines and previous years' examples to develop a fresher visual style.

• Create multiple versions for Wealth Management, parent company branding, Capital Markets, and French-language communications.

• Use approved brand colors, typography, and logo standards to create a warm, sophisticated, optimistic, and professional holiday message, delivered as a 20-30 second animation with final files provided in MP4, Outlook OFT, and InDesign formats.

• Incorporate feedback and collaborate with a lead designer.

• Prepare final video assets for Vimeo and the client's HTML email distribution workflow. 

• Create animated holiday video and Supporting E-card outlook format

Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience as a Motion Designer with a strong graphic design foundation.

• Portfolio showcasing animated digital content and visual design.

• Ability to refresh existing creative concepts while adhering to established brand guidelines.

• Experience adapting designs for multiple logos, business divisions, or language variations.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within a condensed timeline.

• Specific software requirements to be confirmed once the client provides the brief.
