Motion Graphic Designer

About the role

Working closely with the client servicing, creative team and Creative Director, you have an immaculate grasp of visual seduction – we mean design, typography, layout, and art direction. You are a crazy thinker and imaginative story-teller armed with strong ideation and visualisation skills and dynamic finesse. You love proposing and executing campaigns which resonate with brands and audiences, primarily in the FMCG industry and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• A cross between graphic designer x video editor – an insatiable ability to create both print and animated work effortlessly

• Thinking within and beyond the vines with dynamic finesse and bringing a contemporary edge to build excitement using exceptional creative and visualisation skills

• Able to bring creative concepts to life in all digital forms such as graphics, animations, and editing of videos and sounds, and presenting creative work as holistic 360 experiences

• Using your expert knowledge and video-enabled prowess in creating that "wham..bam!" impact

• Work with 2D & 3D teams on projects encompassing packaging and retail design to branding, creative strategy works, brand vision, advertising, web, social media and more

• Work closely with client servicing teams to conceptualise and develop designs for marketing campaigns in various platforms

• To prepare and develop graphics, animations, interactive content, interfaces or applications using appropriate designing and authoring tools

• Help conceptualise campaigns that make local and international audiences sit up and go "say whuttt?!" with the ability to develop original creative concepts based on a client brief rather than solely executing given directions.

• Able to conceptualise and propose creative ideas for potential and existing clients, including developing visual directions, mood boards, storyboards and campaign concepts for pitches and proposals.

• Participate actively in brainstorming and pitching sessions, contributing creative ideas and translating them into compelling visual presentations that clearly communicate the proposed concept to clients.

• Able to take a project from brief → concept → proposal → visualisation → execution, working closely with the Creative Director and Client Servicing team.

• Possess a good understanding of brands and target audiences with the ability to propose creative ideas that are not only visually engaging but also relevant to the client's marketing objectives.

• Comfortable presenting and explaining creative concepts and design rationale internally

• Able to work independently on creative proposals and develop key visuals, motion references and mock-ups to help clients visualise the proposed campaign direction.

About you

• Good command with CS6, Adobe software (Photoshop/ illustrator/ InDesign etc), After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut
• Interest in other creative mediums such as photography, videography and short form videos will be favourably considered
• Utilise latest computer technologies to create animation and live video content for various types of media – print, digital, social, experiential and more
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design specialised in Multimedia or equivalent is an advantage
• A strong visual portfolio is essential
