Roles and Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social platforms, including reels, teasers, testimonials and product videos
• Create motion graphics: animated explainers, logo animations, lower thirds, kinetic typography, infographic animations and title sequences
• Cut long-form content into platform-ready formats and adapt a single edit across multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
• Work on performance ad creatives for Meta and Google, including hook variations and multiple versions of the same concept for A/B testing
• Handle the full post-production pipeline: footage ingest, rough cut, colour correction, sound design, background score, sync, subtitles and final export
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to translate briefs and storyboards into finished videos
• Assist on shoots when required, including basic camera setup, lighting support and on-set data management
• Use AI video and audio tools for generation, upscaling, voiceovers, subtitling and cleanup where they speed up delivery
• Maintain organised project files, timelines, assets and version control for every client brand
• Manage multiple client projects at once, take feedback in review rounds and deliver revisions within agreed timelines
• Keep track of platform trends, editing styles and formats that are currently performing, and bring those ideas into work

Preferred candidate profile

• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in video editing and motion graphics, preferably in an agency, production house or in-house marketing team
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve, Illustrator, Photoshop or Figma is an added advantage
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating both edited video work and original motion graphics
• Good sense of pacing, timing, rhythm and storytelling. Understands what makes a viewer stop scrolling in the first three seconds
• Comfortable with sound design, audio cleanup, music selection and sync
• Basic understanding of typography, colour and layout so animated text and graphics look clean
• Exposure to AI-based creative tools, or a genuine willingness to learn and adopt them quickly
• Able to work with brand guidelines and stay consistent across a client's content
• Organised, responsive to feedback and reliable with deadlines in a fast turnaround environment
• Working knowledge of camera, lighting and audio equipment is a plus, though not mandatory
• Qualification in visual communication, animation, multimedia or a related field is preferred. Strong self-taught candidates with a solid showreel are equally welcome
